Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Amidst border instability, Cambodian society has united strongly, responding to the challenges with profound patriotism and unwavering national cohesion. In recent days, civic groups and the general public have taken action, using concrete measures to defend national sovereignty and conveying deep concern to the military and civilians holding the front lines.

The Cambodian Youth Federation (UYFC) has officially announced a large-scale "Peace March" to be organized at 3 PM on December 18th. The march will begin at the Phnom Penh Night Market and proceed on foot to the Independence Monument Garden. Organizers stated that the march, based on the principles of peace and rationality, aims to unite the younger generation to safeguard national stability and unity; it is both a concentrated display of youth will and a profound patriotic education, conveying to the international community Cambodian youth's firm determination to defend peace and overcome difficulties together.

In addition to youth groups, civic sports associations are also actively involved in charitable support activities. On December 17th, a charity run titled "Running for Frontline Heroes," jointly initiated by over ten running and cycling groups including Night Runner Club and Hanuman Runner, was successfully held in Phnom Penh, using sports to convey love and support.

Since the border situation became tense again on December 7th, the lives and livelihoods of local residents have been affected. Despite previous peace agreements, the fluctuating situation continues to weigh heavily on the minds of the entire nation. Against this backdrop, Cambodian society has demonstrated a highly efficient mobilization capacity: from the charity run in Phnom Penh to street donations and social media campaigns, various sectors have contributed in diverse ways.

It is understood that all funds and supplies raised will be allocated by relevant agencies to support frontline border defense personnel and displaced refugees. This series of actions not only continues Cambodia's fine tradition of mutual assistance and solidarity in the face of adversity, but also clearly demonstrates to the international community in a non-violent and positive way that peace is the will of the people and unity is the fundamental cornerstone of national prosperity and development.
