Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Chaonan District Fire and Rescue Brigade in Shantou, Guangdong Province, issued a police report on December 10th, stating that a fire broke out in a residential building on Danfeng Road, Xiashan Street, Chaonan District at 21:20 on December 9th. Upon receiving the report, the fire department quickly dispatched personnel to the scene. The fire was extinguished at 22:03.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the building was a four-story reinforced concrete self-built house, with a fire area of approximately 150 square meters. The fire resulted in 8 deaths and 4 injuries, who have been sent to the hospital for treatment. The investigation into the cause of the fire and the follow-up work are currently underway.
