Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The "Warm Winter Elegance, Enjoying Lingnan" National Music Tour and Cultural Tourism & Commerce Integration Carnival kicked off on November 30th at Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou.

The event will run until early January 2026. The Guangdong National Orchestra will present 54 carnival performances, with Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou as the main venue, radiating to cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area such as Foshan and Zhaoqing. While promoting national music culture, it aims to create new consumption scenarios integrating culture and tourism.

At the carnival's opening ceremony, the program "Opening Ceremony" was presented in the form of a "flash mob + opening concert." Che Yongqiang, deputy director of the Guangdong National Orchestra, served as the narrator, and together with several first-class actors and young performers from the orchestra, they brought an outdoor national music feast to the public in a "performance and narration" format.

Following this, the Guangdong wind and percussion ensemble pieces "Entertainment and Peace" and "Victory Order" took the stage, their cheerful and lively melodies and powerful and bold tunes instantly raising the atmosphere of the event. Following this, renowned Cantonese musical pieces such as "Raindrops on Banana Leaves," "Thunder in the Drought," and "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon" were performed one after another.

Yin Biao, a first-class performer of the Guangdong National Orchestra and president of the Guangdong Guitar Research Association, presented guitar solos of "Yi Dance" and "Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine Roses." "Yi Dance" is a pipa solo composed by ethnic musician Wang Huiran, which Yin Biao adapted for guitar.

In addition, "Rock Memories" cleverly interweaves several classic rock songs, giving these classic works a fresh form of expression through the fusion of ethnic instruments and modern arrangements.

It is reported that in addition to being held at Baiyun Mountain in Guangzhou, the carnival performances also have branch venues in Zhaoqing and Foshan. Dinghu Mountain in Zhaoqing, known as the "Emerald on the Tropic of Cancer," will host the "Pure and Elegant Music" string concert and the "Flowing Melodies of the Spring" plucked string concert.

The Ancestral Temple in Foshan is known as the "Palace of Eastern Folk Art." The carnival will feature the "Ancient and Modern Tides" Chinese music concert, the "Original Sounds of Guangzhou" five-piece concert, and the "Clear Sounds of Chaozhou Music" Han music concert.

The event is hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and organized by the Guangdong National Orchestra and Guangdong Performing Arts Co., Ltd. (End)
