This event was part of a series of important celebratory activities for the 8th National Congress of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association (2025-2030 term).
Do Van Chien, Member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Ho Quoc Dung, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Prime Minister, along with representatives from various ministries and approximately 1,500 guests, attended the event.
On behalf of the Party and the State, Do Van Chien extended warm congratulations to the 11 outstanding representatives and 100 outstanding young entrepreneurs of Vietnam who received the 2025 Red Star Award. He stated that these outstanding young entrepreneurs vividly demonstrated the wisdom, talent, vitality, and dedication of Vietnam's younger generation.
Do Van Chien emphasized that the younger generation should bravely shoulder the mission of the times and strive to be pioneers in technological innovation and the country's digital transformation. Not only must they master technological applications, but they must also break through core and key technologies, leading the green transformation process and contributing to enhancing the nation's strategic self-reliance. He called on the business community to jointly cultivate a Vietnamese entrepreneurial spirit characterized by patriotism, integrity, law-abidingness, innovation, and fulfillment of social responsibility.
Do Van Chien pointed out, "In the new era, corporate brand building is not only about asset size, but also depends on the character and reputation of corporate leaders, reflected in their responsibility to employees, communities, and the environment. This is the lasting passport for Vietnamese enterprises to go global."
Dang Hong Anh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation and Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, stated in his address that the Red Star Award not only recognizes "star" entrepreneurs who have achieved commercial success, but also honors "red standard bearers" who can unite forces, inspire society, and build a strong Vietnam. It is understood that many award winners are leading leading enterprises in key sectors such as industrial manufacturing, finance and securities, logistics and transportation, renewable energy, high-tech agriculture, and digital media.
The selection process for this year's Red Star Award began in July and received over 300 applications. After rigorous review, 100 outstanding young entrepreneurs (TOP100) and 30 excellent young entrepreneurs (TOP30) were selected. Eleven of the most outstanding representatives were then awarded the Red Star Award through a vote.
Data shows that the TOP100 companies have total assets of nearly 3000 trillion VND, total operating revenue exceeding 310 trillion VND in 2024, and after-tax profits of approximately 42 trillion VND.
