  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On February 3rd, to promote exchange and interaction among members of the Taiwan Compatriots Associations of Changning and Huangpu Districts, as well as CPPCC members from the Taiwan Compatriots Associations of the two districts, the Changning and Huangpu Taiwan Compatriots Associations held a joint New Year study and exchange activity themed "Tracing a Century of History, Discussing a New Chapter of Integration." Liu Liping, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Changning District, Director of the District Taiwan Affairs Office, and Director of the District Overseas Chinese Affairs Office; Chen Li, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Huangpu District, Director of the District Taiwan Affairs Office, and President of the District Taiwan Compatriots Association; and Xu Ling, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jiangsu Road Subdistrict, attended the event. Nearly 30 people, including members of the Taiwan Compatriots Associations of Changning and Huangpu Districts and CPPCC members, participated.

  Members of the Taiwan Compatriots Associations of the two districts jointly visited the Yuyuan Road United Front Cultural Street, touring the "Jiandefang" (Humble Virtue Archway), the former residence of Dong Zhujun, the former residence of Qian Xuesen, and the historical figures cultural wall. Through historical buildings and vivid stories, they appreciated the profound heritage and contemporary value of the united front, and inherited the fine tradition of patriotism, love for their hometown, and concerted efforts. Liu Liping and Xu Ling jointly unveiled the plaque for the Jiangsu Road Subdistrict Branch of the "Cross-Strait Home Center" in Changning District. Chen Li presented a certificate for "Special Contribution" to the cross-strait family letter cultural activities jointly organized by the Taiwan Compatriots Associations of the ten districts.

  Following this, the Taiwan Compatriots Associations of the two districts held a joint New Year learning and exchange meeting, introducing their experiences and practices in serving Taiwan compatriots and enterprises, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among Taiwan youth, and carrying out cross-strait cultural exchanges. They conducted in-depth discussions on ideological guidance, networking services, youth exchanges, brand building, and political participation, building consensus and sparking new ideas.

  After the meeting, they also visited the Shanghai Jinmao Law Firm in the Bund Center of Huangpu District to learn about the development of member enterprises of the Taiwan Compatriots Association and experience the innovative momentum and urban warmth of Shanghai's modern service industry.

  The Taiwan Compatriots Associations of Changning and Huangpu Districts have maintained joint exchanges for several years. In the new year, the two district Taiwan Compatriots Associations will continue to strengthen cross-district collaboration, integrate resource advantages, build more exchange and cooperation platforms, continuously expand the depth and breadth of cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, and jointly write a new chapter in cross-strait integrated development.
