  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to the Qinghai Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision, with the approval of the Qinghai Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Qinghai Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision has filed a case for investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Yuan Tingyun, former member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Governor of Haixi Prefecture.

  The investigation revealed that Yuan Tingyun had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, accepted banquets that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties, and illegally accepted gifts and money; he failed to uphold the bottom line of integrity, willingly allowing himself to be "hunted," and accepting "nanny-style" services from private business owners free of charge; he illegally interfered in and meddled in the contracting and subcontracting of engineering projects, failed to properly perform his duties, and caused adverse effects; he abused his power, causing serious consequences; and his greed swelled, using public power as a tool to seize personal gain, using his position to seek benefits for others in obtaining project support funds, and illegally accepting huge amounts of money and property.

  Yuan Tingyun seriously violated the Party's discipline on integrity and work discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected crimes of abuse of power and bribery. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, making his actions serious in nature and having a negative impact, warranting severe punishment. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Qinghai Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and approval by the Qinghai Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, it was decided to expel Yuan Tingyun from the Party; the Qinghai Provincial Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution according to law, with all related assets transferred as well.
