The 32nd Winter Camp for Taiwan Compatriots Youth of the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots opened in Ningxia.

  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On January 22nd, the opening ceremony of the Ningxia branch of the 32nd All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots Winter Camp for Youth, themed "Youthful Journey in the Frontier: Painting a Shared Future Together," was held at Ningxia Vocational and Technical University. More than 40 teachers and students from various universities in Taiwan gathered in Ningxia to embark on a 7-day in-depth cultural experience.

  This event, themed "Strengthening the Sense of Community of the Chinese Nation," combines local Ningxia resources with a focus on ice and snow culture. Through exchanges, visits, and experiential learning, it features a comprehensive curriculum covering history and culture, ethnic unity, rural revitalization, ecological governance, and distinctive industries, showcasing Ningxia's natural landscape, development vitality, and cultural heritage.

  During the 7-day trip, campers will systematically explore historical sites such as the Western Xia Imperial Tombs, touching the roots of civilization; visit Minning Town to learn about the vivid practice of East-West cooperation; delve into the Jinhuayuan Community to hear heartwarming stories of ethnic unity; and visit the Tengger Desert ecological governance area and modern photovoltaic base to appreciate the practical wisdom of green development. The event also included interactive sessions such as intangible cultural heritage experiences and university exchanges, showcasing Ningxia's new development from multiple perspectives.

  This Ningxia branch camp was hosted by the All-China Federation of Taiwan Compatriots and organized by the Ningxia Federation of Taiwan Compatriots. Its aim was to provide Taiwanese youth with a platform to personally experience the development of mainland China and gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, building a bridge for sincere dialogue and deep integration between Ningxia and Taiwan youth, and allowing them to enhance cultural identity and build emotional consensus through travel and experience.

  Taiwanese student Shi expressed great anticipation for experiencing Ningxia's snow and ice landscapes during the winter camp; Taiwanese student Li was particularly excited about visiting the Western Xia Imperial Tombs, hoping to touch the stone carvings and experience the unique Western Xia culture.
