Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) With temperatures continuing to rise, the overall forest fire weather risk level in Fujian Province is high during the Spring Festival, posing a severe forest fire prevention situation, according to the Ministry of Emergency Management. On February 14th, 24 firefighters from the Longyan Fire and Rescue Mobile Brigade in Fujian Province went to the Yongfu Cherry Blossom Garden Scenic Area in Zhangping City to comprehensively strengthen prevention and control measures and safeguard the scenic area's fire safety during the holiday.

The cherry blossom garden was bustling with tourists. Taking advantage of the large crowds, firefighters conducted targeted public awareness campaigns. "Hello, please do not bring any fire sources into the scenic area. Thank you for your cooperation." At the entrance, firefighters set up checkpoints to collect fire sources and distribute fire prevention leaflets; they also established duty points in key areas, organizing tourists to experience operating firefighting equipment on-site, effectively improving the fire safety and civilized travel awareness of citizens and tourists.

To achieve comprehensive prevention and control, firefighters constructed an integrated air-ground monitoring system. Lookout posts were set up at high points in the scenic area to observe the situation in real time, while the thermal imaging function of drones was used to enhance ground hotspot monitoring, ensuring that potential fire hazards were detected and dealt with immediately.

Huang Xuefeng, captain of the Second Squadron of the Longyan Fire and Rescue Mobile Detachment, introduced that during the Spring Festival, the detachment will deploy 504 personnel to provide round-the-clock fire prevention and assistance services to 11 key scenic spots and 16 townships within its jurisdiction. He reminded tourists that it is strictly forbidden to bring fire sources into the mountains, to discard cigarette butts carelessly, and to refrain from outdoor fire activities such as barbecuing, picnicking, and setting off fireworks in forest areas, so as to jointly protect the green mountains and clear waters and ensure a civilized and safe holiday.
