Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) With the Cambodian New Year approaching, the Ministry of Tourism has issued an official notice requiring all tourism operators nationwide to fully implement transparent pricing and clear terms of service to ensure tourists' right to know and regulate the holiday tourism market.

The notice clarifies that all tourism businesses must prominently display service details, corresponding prices, and applicable terms to prevent price gouging and help tourists make informed purchasing decisions.

This requirement aims to complement the "City Cleanliness, Resort Cleanliness, Excellent Service, and Hospitality" promotional campaign, leveraging the three-day New Year holiday to showcase Cambodia's rich cultural heritage to domestic and international tourists. The Ministry of Tourism also urges operators to maintain reasonable prices and strictly prohibits price gouging during the holiday.

To create a festive atmosphere, the Ministry of Tourism encourages businesses to decorate their premises with lights, display national flags, incorporate Khmer culture and local provincial characteristics, and adhere to traditional customs. The Ministry of Tourism also requires businesses to plan sufficient parking spaces and clearly demarcate areas, strictly prohibiting haphazard parking that could obstruct public transportation; practitioners are required to cooperate with government departments at all levels to ensure the security and stability of their business premises and maintain good public order.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Tourism has issued detailed requirements for hygiene services: practitioners must regularly clean restrooms, ensure an adequate supply of hand sanitizer, paper towels, and other supplies, and strictly implement separate restrooms for men and women.
