Cambodia won 27 awards at the 2026 ASEAN Tourism Awards.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – During the recently concluded ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026 (ATF 2026), Cambodia delivered a remarkable performance, showcasing its outstanding tourism service quality and sustainable development achievements.

  On January 30th, the ASEAN Tourism Awards 2026 ceremony was held. Cambodian Minister of Tourism, Hua Ha, personally led a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism, representatives from the five provincial governments, and representatives from shortlisted private enterprises to attend the ceremony.

  It is understood that the ASEAN Tourism Awards aim to enhance the core competitiveness of tourism service providers in the region through standardization. In 2026, a total of 211 awards were established across ASEAN in 9 categories. In the fierce competition, Cambodia stood out, winning a total of 27 important awards, covering multiple dimensions including cities, hotels, and MICE services.

  The list of winners demonstrates Cambodia's strong capabilities in tourism infrastructure and green development. Among them, Siem Reap Province, Stung Treng Province, Kampong Cham Province, Battambang Province, and Sihanoukville Province won the ASEAN Clean Tourism City Award.

  This sweep of multiple awards not only affirms Cambodia's efforts in reviving its tourism industry over the past year but also represents a significant enhancement to its national tourism brand image.

  The Cambodian Ministry of Tourism stated that it is fully prepared and will continue to uphold its excellent hospitality, warmly welcoming tourists from home and abroad to experience the unique charm of the ancient kingdom of Angkor and embark on a wonderful journey by providing high-standard, high-quality services and a welcoming social atmosphere.
