Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – From January 28th to 30th, a delegation from the Vietnam National Tourism Administration under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will travel to Cebu City, Philippines, to attend the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026 (ATF 2026) and the International Travel Mart (TRAVEX). Through various promotional activities, the delegation aims to enhance Vietnam's tourism brand image, attract international tourists, and contribute to achieving the goal of receiving 25 million international tourists by 2026.

The ASEAN Tourism Forum, themed "Shaping the Future of Tourism Together," is the largest and most influential annual event within the ASEAN tourism cooperation framework, held on a rotating basis in each member country. TRAVEX, as a key event of the forum, will attract numerous tourism partners, businesses, and international buyers.

Vietnam will have a booth at the event, focusing on promoting its national tourism brand "Vietnam – Timeless Charm." The booth will showcase its unique tourism products, including island destinations, cultural attractions, natural landscapes, and urban tourism, catering to the needs of ASEAN and key source markets. It will also feature related products such as golf, medical tourism, wellness tourism, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism, and promote the 2026 Gia Lai National Tourism Year activities.

Vietnam's tourism industry is projected to experience strong growth in 2025, with nearly 21.2 million international tourists visiting. Of these, 78.6% (approximately 16.6 million) are from Asia. Key Asian markets such as China, South Korea, and the Philippines are experiencing rapid growth, providing strong support for the tourism industry's recovery.

Given the positive development momentum expected in 2025, Vietnam's participation in the event is of great significance. The Vietnamese government highly values tourism, considering it a key highlight of the national economy. Attending this top-level ASEAN tourism event will not only strengthen promotion and deepen regional cooperation but also demonstrate Vietnam's strategic determination to transform its tourism industry from "recovery" to "growth, quality improvement, and sustainable development."
