Cambodian Tourism Minister Hua Ha has invited Emirates Airlines to launch direct flights to Cambodia.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – During the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, UK, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, Hua Ha, held important talks with Helen Breen, Sales Director of Emirates Airlines. The two sides discussed in depth the need to strengthen Cambodia's air connectivity with the international community and promote Cambodia's rich tourism potential.

  Promoting Direct Flights to Enhance Connectivity

  During the talks, Minister Hua Ha actively promoted Cambodia's aviation infrastructure and growing market potential to Emirates Airlines. The Minister earnestly requested that Emirates Airlines seriously consider the possibility of opening direct flights to Cambodia.

  He specifically pointed out that Cambodia already possesses the world-class 4F-level airport, Druk Chon International Airport, providing a solid infrastructure guarantee for the opening of international direct flights.

  The Minister emphasized that several well-known international airlines, including Turkish Airlines and Etihad Airways, have already opened or plan to open direct flights to Cambodia, demonstrating the international market's high recognition of Cambodia's tourism prospects.

  Minister Hua Ha also formally invited the senior Emirates official to visit Cambodia to inspect the newly built Druk Chon International Airport and assess its world-class operational capabilities and facilities. The visit aimed to deepen Emirates' understanding of Cambodia's investment environment and tourism resources. Minister Hua Ha also extended an invitation to the official to conduct an on-site inspection of the airport and its facilities, and to gain a deeper understanding of Cambodia's rich tourism potential, including its world-renowned cultural heritage, natural scenery, and unique tourism products.

  This meeting marks a significant step forward for the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism in promoting international air connectivity and attracting more tourists from the Middle East and around the world, and is expected to bring new development opportunities to Cambodia's tourism industry.
