  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – At the invitation of Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith, Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida arrived in Vientiane on Monday, March 16th, officially commencing a three-day state visit to Laos, which will last until March 18th.

  Upon arriving at Vatta International Airport, the King and Queen were warmly welcomed by a delegation of officials from both Laos and Thailand, led by Lao Deputy Prime Minister Saleumxay Kommasith.

  This visit aims to consolidate the traditional friendship between Laos and Thailand and deepen the long-standing friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries. Laos and Thailand share a long border and profound cultural ties, maintaining close ties in trade, development cooperation, and regional cooperation, and the friendship between the two peoples has stood the test of time.

  During the visit, King Vajiralongkorn and Queen Mother will meet with Lao national leaders to discuss specific ways to deepen bilateral cooperation. They will also visit the Huai Son-Huai Ha Agricultural Development Service Center to inspect Lao agricultural development, and tour the Pha That Luang Museum in Vientiane and the ancient Lao silk weaving center to experience the charm of Lao traditional culture and crafts.

  This state visit is expected to further solidify the friendly partnership between Laos and Thailand and promote the continuous upgrading of bilateral cooperation.
