Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on December 2nd, the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security jointly organized a military parade rehearsal at the Komadan Army Officer Academy in Phromhong District, Vientiane Province. Lieutenant General Khammyn Phuramanivong, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Brigadier General Khonthong Soukavong, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army, along with members of relevant committees from both ministries, other officials, and all parade participants, attended the rehearsal.
This joint rehearsal marked the first collaboration between personnel from the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security, showcasing the spirit of unity and cooperation among the national defense and security forces. The core objective of the event was to comprehensively assess the preparedness of all parties, covering key aspects such as technical support, discipline, physical fitness, morale, and coordination, ensuring that the official military parade fully demonstrates the pride of the Lao people, national strength, and national cohesion.
A total of 24 units participated in the joint rehearsal, with 18 units from the Ministry of National Defense and 6 units from the Ministry of Public Security. During rehearsals, all participating teams demonstrated a high degree of determination, patience, focus, enthusiasm, and seamless teamwork, fully showcasing their exceptional professionalism.
The organizing committee stated that the close cooperation and high level of professionalism displayed during training signify that both militaries are fully prepared for the upcoming National Day celebrations. This parade is expected to be a grand and significant event, showcasing the strict discipline and unity of the armed forces and security forces, and highlighting the remarkable achievements of the Lao People's Democratic Republic over the past fifty years.
