China appears as the guest of honor at the Thailand International Tourism Exhibition

This impressive data comes from a recent special conference held in Luang Prabang. At the meeting, the provincial working group not only summarized the achievements of tackling economic development issues from January to July this year, but also clarified the key work plan for the next five months. The meeting was chaired by Bounleua Sinxayvoravong, Deputy Governor of Luang Prabang Province.
According to local provincial officials, the booming development of tourism in Luang Prabang is due to the continuous improvement of tourist service facilities by the provincial government, as well as the benefits of the opening of the Laos China railway. Nowadays, this railway has become the most popular way for tourists to travel to Luang Prabang, greatly reducing travel barriers and making it more convenient to reach this tourist hotspot.
To cope with the upcoming peak tourism season (when the number of tourists will reach its peak), the government of Luang Prabang Province plans to promote the road repair project in Luang Prabang city in the next five months, in order to improve infrastructure, ensure the travel experience of tourists, and make full preparations for the new round of tourist influx.
