  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – From July 31 to August 1, 2025, China and Laos held negotiations on the text of the intergovernmental agreement on the "One Stop, Two Checkpoints" system for the China-Laos Railway in Vientiane, the Laotian capital. The negotiations were co-chaired by Zhao Lijian, Deputy Director of the Department of Boundary and Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Anousin, Director of the Office of the National Boundary Committee of the Laotian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Representatives from the two countries' foreign affairs, public security, customs, immigration, railway departments, and relevant local authorities attended the negotiations.

  Adhering to a candid, friendly, and pragmatic spirit of cooperation, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the text of the intergovernmental agreement on the "One Stop, Two Checkpoints" system for the China-Laos Railway and reached a basic consensus. Both sides agreed to actively promote the expedited signing of the agreement, guided by the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, to further improve the quality and efficiency of the China-Laos Railway, promote economic, trade, and personnel exchanges between the two countries, and contribute to the building of a community with a shared future between China and Laos.
