Lao leaders highly praised the role of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association.

  Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – A delegation from the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association, headed by Nguyen Duc Vinh, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture, Education and Youth and Children, and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association, paid a courtesy call on Lao Deputy Prime Minister Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune on the afternoon of July 18.

  According to a report by the Vietnam News Agency correspondent in Laos, the Lao Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the visit of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association delegation would contribute to the development and cultivation of the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. He believed that the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association and the Lao-Vietnam Friendship Association would serve as a bridge to promote people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, while also fostering cooperation between businesses and investors from both nations, and contributing to the common interests and development of both countries.

  Comrade Nguyen Duc Vinh stressed that the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association and the Lao-Vietnam Friendship Association will continue to cooperate closely in educating the younger generation and people of both countries to gain a deeper and more accurate understanding of the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos, thus facilitating the increasingly profound and pragmatic development of this special relationship.

  Previously, Nguyen Duc Vinh, Chairman of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association, and Boviengkham Vongdara, Chairman of the Lao-Vietnam Friendship Association, held talks.

  During the talks, both sides reviewed the organization of past bilateral cooperation activities and discussed the direction of future cooperation plans, particularly major festivals and commemorative events in both countries.

  Both sides agreed to continue promoting Vietnam-Laos cooperation in education and training; to promote activities to strengthen exchanges, understanding, and close ties between the Communist Youth Unions and the younger generation of the two countries; to actively encourage entrepreneurs from both countries to invest in their respective countries; and to coordinate and create favorable conditions for regular meetings and exchanges between the Vietnam and Lao Veterans Associations.
