On this occasion, General Lakhamphong welcomed and congratulated Ms. Fang Hong on her appointment as the new Chinese Ambassador to Laos, acknowledging that this reflects the trust of the Chinese Party, government, and people in fulfilling China's diplomatic responsibilities in Laos. He emphasized the need to continue strengthening Lao-China and China-Laos friendly relations. At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Peace and Security expressed deep appreciation and gratitude to the Party, government, and people of the People's Republic of China for the valuable assistance provided to the Lao People's Democratic Republic from the past to the present.
