
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On November 21, 2025, a delegation of faculty and students from the 20th Master of Philosophy class, led by Sichan, Deputy Director of the Department of Philosophy at the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, visited the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone in Bokeo Province for a special study and exchange activity. Khamsavan, Acting Director of the Administrative Authority of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone, warmly received the delegation.

During the discussion, Sichan first spoke on behalf of the delegation. He expressed his sincere gratitude for the meticulous arrangements and warm reception from the Special Economic Zone's administrative authority and various departments. He explained the core purpose of the visit—to put into practice the teaching philosophy of "integrating theory with practice" and to systematically investigate the development of the Special Economic Zone in areas such as socio-economic development, trade and investment cooperation, industrial and agricultural production and operation, and the integration of culture, tourism, and education. Sichan expressed his hope that this visit would serve as an important opportunity to promote the establishment of a long-term exchange and cooperation mechanism between the Academy and the Special Economic Zone in areas such as talent cultivation and practical teaching, achieving experience sharing and mutual benefit.

King Khamsaba warmly welcomed the delegation and accompanied the teachers and students to watch a documentary on the 18th anniversary of the Golden Triangle Special Economic Zone. Following the documentary, he systematically introduced the zone's geographical advantages, leveraging the Mekong River's golden waterway, and its socio-economic development since its establishment. He focused on core areas such as cross-border trade facilitation, cultural and tourism integration, infrastructure connectivity, and the cultivation of ecological agriculture and animal husbandry, detailing the zone's groundbreaking achievements in recent years. During the meeting, both sides also engaged in practical and in-depth discussions on key issues such as social and cultural development, regional security cooperation, standardized labor management, and education and medical security.

After the meeting, the delegation conducted an in-depth field visit to the special economic zone, touring key functional areas including the Golden Triangle International Port, Bokeo International Airport, the "Golden Triangle Window" exhibition center, and the International Style Street. They received a detailed introduction to the zone's overall plan and future development layout. The vibrant development of this modern new city rising on the banks of the Mekong River deeply inspired the teachers and students and left a profound impression.
