
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – According to U Aye Kho, Chairman of the Shwesetta Pagoda Council, the Shwesetta Pagoda Festival, held in Minbu (Sakor) Township, Magway Region, Myanmar, has been consistently popular since the opening of the fifth waxing moon of Thabodawwe, attracting approximately 50,000 pilgrims to date.
As a highly influential religious festival in the region, the Shwesetta Pagoda Festival is filled with a vibrant atmosphere, with large numbers of devotees coming daily to worship and pray. To ensure pilgrims can participate in the event with peace of mind and convenience, the organizers have specifically improved various supporting services: 465 standard guest rooms and 46 deluxe guest rooms have been specially set up, while separate accommodation areas have been allocated for monks. Pilgrims can also conveniently stay in nearby temples, meeting the accommodation needs of different groups.
In terms of daily necessities, 142 market stalls have been set up on-site, providing various goods and catering services at reasonable prices to fully meet the daily needs of pilgrims. According to statistics, since the festival began in early March, these pilgrims have traveled from all over Myanmar in more than 5,800 vehicles (including motorcycles) to participate in this religious event.
