Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – On April 2nd, Thailand's NARUEMIT PRIDE company, in conjunction with the Bangkok Metropolitan Government, NGOs, and the private sector, will host the "Bangkok Pride Festival 2025." The event will feature a 200-meter-long flag symbolizing gender diversity, representing support for gender diversity from all sectors, and an invitation to LGBTQIAN+ individuals worldwide to participate. This year's goal is to establish Bangkok as a global center for gender diversity and to demonstrate to the world that Thailand is ready and qualified to host "Bangkok World Pride Month" in 2030.
According to Ms. Wa Dao, founder of NARUEMIT PRIDE, the 2025 Bangkok Pride Festival will be held on June 1st from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, featuring a parade with five colors and five different concepts. This year's event will continue to be a stage for showcasing strength, diversity, and boundless love, aiming to gain understanding and acceptance in society. The theme for this year's event is "Born This Way: Continuing the Struggle, From Marriage Equality to Identity."
Furthermore, she stated that over 300,000 Thai-foreign participants are expected this year, up from over 250,000 in 2024, and Pride Month is projected to generate over 4.5 billion baht in circulation.
