Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's traditional day, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Fukuoka and the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka jointly held the "National Unity Day of Vietnam in Kyushu and the 2025 Kyushu Vietnamese Sports Games" on November 16th.

In her opening remarks, Consul General Vu Chi Mai emphasized that the National Unity Day and Sports Games aimed to promote the tradition of national unity, strengthen the cohesion of the Vietnamese community in Japan, especially in Kyushu, and introduce Vietnam, its people, and its culture to Japanese friends. Through cultural and sports exchanges, the event aimed to spread Vietnamese characteristics and contribute to building a united, integrated, developing, and patriotic Vietnamese community in Kyushu.

Nguyen Duy Anh, Chairman of the Organizing Committee and member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, expressed his excitement at witnessing the unprecedented gathering of Vietnamese people in Kyushu. He stated that this event served as a platform for Vietnamese compatriots in Vietnam to gather and exchange ideas, and also demonstrated a sacred belief: although far from their homeland, every Vietnamese person still flows with the blood of Lac Hong and has their heart set on their country. This flag is not only a symbol of Vietnam, but also a symbol of unity, pride, and community strength.

During the event, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in conjunction with the Consulate General in Fukuoka, commended groups and individuals who have made positive contributions to community building, strengthening the spirit of unity, and the preservation of Vietnamese culture and language in Japan.
