This year's Chinese American Film Festival summit forum theme was "The 130th Anniversary of the Birth of World Cinema and the 120th Anniversary of the Birth of Chinese Cinema: The Inheritance and Innovation of Film," while the Chinese American Television Festival summit forum theme was "The New Audiovisual Era – The Survival Strategies of the Chinese and American Film and Television Industries."
Wang Taiyu, Cultural Counselor of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Los Angeles, Chai Yun, Cultural Consul, Su Yantao, Chairman of the Chinese American Film Festival and Chinese American Television Festival, Andrew Morgan, Co-Chairman of the Chinese American Film Festival, and Bob Underwood, Chairman of the International Committee of the Writers Guild of the West, attended the event. Dozens of industry professionals, including heads of film and television companies from China and the United States, Oscar and Emmy Award winners, and renowned experts and scholars, gathered at the Amerson Theater at Loyola Marymount University to exchange ideas, share experiences, and discuss cooperation around the forum's theme.

Participants are encouraged to actively explore how to better promote Sino-US film and television exchanges under the new circumstances, utilizing the power of film and television to foster understanding and friendship between the Chinese and American people.
Su Yantao stated that the annual summit forum and film and television promotion conference is a major highlight of the Sino-US Film Festival and Sino-US Television Festival. He looks forward to the exchange of ideas among participants to promote the development of Sino-US film and television cultural exchanges.
The 21st Sino-US Film Festival and Sino-US Television Festival will be held from November 6th to 30th in a hybrid online and offline format, featuring an opening ceremony and the "Golden Angel Award" ceremony, a summit forum and film and television promotion conference, and a film and television cloud market. According to the organizers, approximately 100 Chinese and American film and television companies have entered the film and television cloud market to discuss cooperation.
In addition, the 21st Sino-US Film Festival screenings will be held in Los Angeles from November 8th to 11th. This year's Best Film, *Chasing the Shadow*, along with films such as *Chang'an's Lychee*, *The Dumpling Queen*, *The Little Monster of Langlang Mountain*, *Project Panda*, and *Operation Jiaolong*, will be screened.
