Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com), April 12 – The Cambodian General Department of Immigration, in conjunction with the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, successfully repatriated 327 Chinese citizens suspected of online fraud, illegal residency, and illegal employment.
All those involved departed from Druk Chon International Airport on the same day. This large-scale repatriation operation is an important practical measure taken by the Cambodian government to strictly implement Prime Minister Hun Manet's instructions and continuously deepen the fight against various types of cybercrime. Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sok Sokha personally guided the operation, emphasizing the need to completely eradicate cybercrime within the country and effectively protect the personal and property safety of Cambodian citizens and their citizens worldwide.
The Cambodian General Department of Immigration stated that this repatriation operation has dual significance: it effectively deterred and severely punished the organizers and perpetrators of cybercrime, and also fully rescued victims who were deceived and coerced by criminal groups into participating in illegal activities, helping them escape illegal control, regain their personal freedom, and smoothly return to their homeland.
