They precisely dismantled a local telecommunications fraud den, apprehending and arresting several foreign suspects on the spot, and seizing a large quantity of tools used in the crimes.

According to a statement from the Banteay Meanchey police, the operation was meticulously planned and executed. Police seized a large amount of key equipment used in telecommunications fraud at the crime den, including computer terminals, communication devices, fraud scripts, and related auxiliary tools, completely severing the criminal operation chain of the den.
Police stated that telecommunications fraud is currently characterized by transnational and covert operations. This operation is an important measure taken by the Cambodian government to combat transnational cybercrime and improve the social security environment, fully demonstrating the Cambodian police's firm determination to curb the spread of telecommunications fraud and safeguard public property and social stability.
