Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the afternoon of December 9, 2025, Phnom Penh police conducted a raid on a suspected online fraud operation at a location in the Boeung Thom district of Chroy Changvar.
During the operation, law enforcement officers arrested 75 Thai suspects, including 48 women. A large number of computers, mobile phones, and other tools used in the fraud were seized, and relevant evidence of illegal activities was secured.
Currently, Phnom Penh police are conducting a thorough investigation, focusing on tracking down the masterminds and key personnel of this transnational online fraud syndicate, and will take further legal action against those involved.
The 75 arrested suspects have been transferred to the National Police General Commissariat for further interrogation and legal processing. The location involved has been ordered to temporarily close, and further details of the case are still under investigation.
