
Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) On November 22, 2025, the Secretariat of the Cambodian Committee for Combating Cybercrime (CCC), in coordination with the National Police, the Svay Rieng Provincial Joint Command, and relevant provincial departments, successfully dismantled an online fraud den at two houses, M47 and M29, in the Bore CK District, Tapovo Village, Bavet Commune, Bavet City, Svay Rieng Province. 28 suspects (including 3 women) were arrested on the spot, and a large number of tools and items used in the crimes were seized.
It is reported that this operation focused on precisely targeting online fraud crimes. Evidence seized by law enforcement at the crime scene included several key items: electronic devices such as 47 desktop computers, 25 mobile phones, 1 mobile tri-band repeater, and 4 WiFi devices; vehicles including a white Lexus RX400h car with Phnom Penh license plate 2BZ-4107, 4 motorcycles, and 1 Vietnamese motorcycle license plate; and also a credit card, 12 passports, 24 ID cards, 5 driver's licenses, and police uniforms, providing crucial support for the subsequent investigation.

Currently, 28 suspects have been transferred to the Svay Rieng Provincial Police Headquarters and relevant departments for further legal proceedings. The two properties involved have been temporarily closed. Relevant departments are working with all parties to continue the in-depth investigation, making every effort to track down the mastermind behind this online fraud case and resolutely pursue the criminal liability of those involved, demonstrating Cambodia's firm determination to combat cybercrime and maintain cybersecurity and social order.
