
Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Cambodian Ministry of Tourism announced that the 4th National Ecotourism Forum will be held in Siem Reap Province from November 24th to 25th. This forum is an important annual event for Cambodia's ecotourism and community tourism sector, aiming to unite all parties to jointly promote the sustainable and healthy development of this field.
In its announcement, the Ministry of Tourism stated that this year's forum will bring together numerous key stakeholders, including representatives from the public and private sectors, domestic and international NGOs, development partners, and especially community representatives from across the country.
The core objective of this forum is to establish a high-level exchange platform. All participants will engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions in the spirit of sharing, participation, and shared responsibility. Activities will include: summarizing the achievements of Cambodia's ecotourism and community tourism over the past year; frankly discussing the current difficulties and challenges in development; sharing innovative ideas, successful experiences, and best practices; and jointly researching and proposing practical solutions and strategies to effectively promote Cambodia's ecotourism and community tourism to a higher level.
Notably, a community tourism and ecotourism exhibition will also be held during the forum, providing communities and related organizations with an opportunity to showcase their work and unique products. To this end, the Ministry of Tourism sincerely calls on the public, tourism associations, communities and ecotourism communities, tourism operators, the private sector, partners, domestic and foreign NGOs, development partners, and all relevant stakeholders to actively participate.
