八大山人（朱耷）是中国明末清初杰出的国画大师，其艺术风格深邃、空灵、含蓄、自然，表现了中国绘画追求的崇高意境，其艺术技巧达到了中国笔墨功夫的最高境界。

八大山人纪念馆是中国第一座古代画家纪念馆、国家一级博物馆，为八大山人作品重要的收藏研究、展示宣传机构。
