At the meeting, the Lushan County Development and Reform Commission reported on the progress of the drafting of the county's "15th Five-Year Plan" proposal. Subsequently, representatives from their respective industries and professional fields freely expressed their opinions and suggestions on key issues such as the county's project layout, economic development, and social welfare over the next five years, offering a series of constructive suggestions.
The meeting put forward three points on further gathering wisdom from non-Party members and jointly drafting a good planning outline: First, it is necessary to build consensus and deeply grasp the significant meaning of the planning process. The "15th Five-Year Plan" is an action plan guiding Lushan's development over the next five years, concerning the overall development of the county and the well-being of the people, and is also closely linked to the development prospects of various industries and fields. It is hoped that representatives from all sectors will earnestly improve their political stance, unify their thoughts and actions with the decisions and deployments of the county Party committee and county government, and jointly promote the high-quality completion of the planning work with a high sense of responsibility and ownership. Second, we must delve deeper into our professional fields and continuously contribute practical and effective wisdom and strategies. All representatives should continue to pay close attention to the planning process, leveraging their strengths and extensive connections to conduct in-depth field research. Focusing on key aspects and priorities, they should continue to offer more forward-looking, targeted, and highly actionable opinions and suggestions, truly transforming the intellectual advantages of non-Party talents into tangible results for scientifically formulating the plan and promoting the development of Lushan. Third, we must strengthen collaboration and jointly promote the implementation of our suggestions. The United Front Work Department of the Lushan County Party Committee will effectively play its leading and coordinating role, systematically sorting and categorizing the collected opinions and suggestions, and establishing a tracking and feedback mechanism to ensure that every suggestion receives a response and is addressed. Relevant functional departments should proactively connect and actively incorporate these suggestions. At the same time, all representatives should play their bridging role, promoting and interpreting the planning concepts in their respective fields, widely building social consensus, and gathering a powerful force from across the county to jointly implement the "15th Five-Year Plan."
More than 30 people participated, including representatives from democratic parties, non-Party members, non-Party cadres, non-Party intellectuals, representatives of the private economy, and representatives of new social strata in Lushan County.
