  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the 20th, Hong Kong's Commissioner Against Corruption (ICAC), Hu Yingming, and Macao's Commissioner Against Corruption, Ao Ieong Sheung, met in Hong Kong. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on leveraging the advantages of "One Country, Two Systems," deepening anti-corruption cooperation, maximizing synergy, and promoting high-quality development of anti-corruption efforts in both regions.

  Hu Yingming stated that the Macao ICAC has always been an important strategic partner of the Hong Kong ICAC, and the two sides have maintained close collaboration and seamless cooperation in various fields such as law enforcement, anti-corruption, and anti-corruption education. He pointed out that under the unique advantages of "One Country, Two Systems," the Macao ICAC actively supports the work of the International Federation of Anti-Corruption Authorities, chaired by Hu Yingming, and also assists the exchange and training work of the Hong Kong International Anti-Corruption Academy under the Hong Kong ICAC. Both sides will further enhance synergy and explore diversified cooperation models in the future to contribute anti-corruption efforts to national development.

  In response, Ouyang Xiang stated that the Macao SAR ICAC and the Hong Kong SAR ICAC have maintained close cooperation in various fields for many years. In 2025, the two sides jointly sent personnel to Brazil for the first time to provide professional anti-corruption training to local anti-corruption and law enforcement agencies, achieving positive results. She expressed her hope that both sides will continue to expand exchange platforms, deepen practical cooperation, and jointly improve the level of anti-corruption efforts in both places.

  During their visit to Hong Kong, the Macao SAR ICAC delegation also visited the Hong Kong ICAC's "1974" café, exhibition hall, and the Hong Kong International Academy of Anti-Corruption, further enhancing their understanding of the Hong Kong ICAC's working philosophy and achievements. (End)
