Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – Today (December 7th), reporters learned from the State Pipeline Group that China's first full-scale high-pressure pure hydrogen pipeline leakage and jet fire series test was successfully conducted in Hami, Xinjiang. The completion of the test not only fills a technological gap in this field in my country but also lays a crucial foundation for the safe development of the hydrogen energy industry.
The test was conducted at the State Pipeline Group's pipeline fracture control test site in Hami, Xinjiang. To maximize the simulation of real-world scenarios, the test team utilized an advanced multi-media pipeline testing platform and specially prefabricated a hydrogen main pipeline with a hydrogen storage capacity of 12,000 cubic meters. The entire test focused on "continuous leakage and jet fire monitoring under multiple operating conditions," simulating various leakage scenarios that may occur in hydrogen pipelines during actual operation.
It is understood that the results of this test will provide a scientific basis for determining the safe distance of pure hydrogen pipelines, contribute to the construction of my country's hydrogen pipeline safety standard system, and provide data support for the large-scale safe transportation of hydrogen energy.
