Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) Recently, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision investigated Liu Yadong, former Party Secretary and Chairman of the Tongling Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), for serious violations of discipline and law.
The investigation revealed that Liu Yadong had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, was disloyal and dishonest to the Party, formed cliques, and resisted organizational review; he disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, improperly accepting banquets and travel arrangements, and illegally accepting gifts and money; he violated organizational principles, failing to truthfully explain issues during organizational inquiries, improperly seeking personnel benefits for others and accepting money and property; he failed to properly perform his duties, causing losses to state-owned assets; and he used his position to seek benefits for others in project contracting and fiscal subsidies, illegally accepting huge amounts of money and property.
Liu Yadong seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and lifestyle discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, indicating the serious nature and adverse impact of his actions, warranting severe punishment. Based on the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," and upon approval by the Anhui Provincial Party Committee after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Anhui Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, it was decided to expel Liu Yadong from the Party; the Anhui Provincial Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his qualification as a representative to the 11th CPC Tongling Municipal Congress will be terminated; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution in accordance with the law, with all related assets transferred as well.
