Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Recently, with the approval of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Tianjin Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision investigated Jiang Meiwu, former deputy bureau-level cadre of Xiqing District, for serious violations of discipline and law.
The investigation revealed that Jiang Meiwu had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original aspirations and mission, and resisted organizational review; he disregarded the spirit of the Central Eight-Point Regulation, accepting banquets that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties; he failed to uphold integrity, squandering public funds; he improperly performed his duties, causing a negative impact; and his greed swelled, transforming public power into a tool for personal gain, seeking benefits for others in project contracting and loan sharking, and illegally accepting huge amounts of money and property.
Jiang Meiwu seriously violated the Party's political discipline, integrity discipline, and work discipline, constituting serious job-related violations and suspected bribery crimes. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, indicating the serious nature and egregious impact of his actions, warranting severe punishment. Based on the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials," and upon approval by the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, it was decided to expel Jiang Meiwu from the Party; cancel her benefits as stipulated; and transfer her suspected criminal case to the procuratorial organ for investigation and prosecution according to law, along with related assets.
