According to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, as monitored by the Ministry, the "Wholesale Price Index for 200 Agricultural Products" was 125.94 on November 25, up 0.24 points from yesterday; the wholesale price index for "vegetable basket" products was 128.13, up 0.28 points from yesterday.
As of 2:00 PM today, the average wholesale price of pork in national agricultural product wholesale markets was 17.72 yuan/kg, down 1.1% from yesterday; beef was 66.88 yuan/kg, up 0.7% from yesterday; mutton was 62.60 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday; eggs were 7.35 yuan/kg, unchanged from yesterday; and dressed chicken was 17.55 yuan/kg, up 0.3% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 5.76 yuan/kg, up 0.2% from yesterday; and the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.29 yuan/kg, down 0.3% from yesterday. Crucian carp was priced at 19.15 yuan/kg, down 0.9% from yesterday; carp at 13.90 yuan/kg, down 1.8% from yesterday; silver carp at 9.96 yuan/kg, down 1.9% from yesterday; and large ribbonfish at 40.38 yuan/kg, up 0.4% from yesterday.
Today, among the 46 key varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in domestic wholesale markets, the top five products with the largest price increases compared to yesterday were cabbage, scallions, cauliflower, large yellow croaker, and watermelon, with increases of 2.3%, 2.2%, 2.0%, 1.7%, and 1.6% respectively; the top five products with the largest price decreases were pineapple, silver carp, carp, shiitake mushrooms, and lettuce, with decreases of 2.8%, 1.9%, 1.8%, 1.7%, and 1.5% respectively.
