Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The 2025 Cross-Strait (Fu'an) Black Tea Exchange Activity was held on the 25th in Fu'an City, Ningde, Fujian Province. Tea enthusiasts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait gathered to discuss their shared passion for tea and explore the tea market.

Fu'an City is known as the "Capital of Chinese Black Tea," boasting a long history of tea cultivation, processing, and production, dating back over 1400 years to the Sui Dynasty. It is the birthplace of "Tanyang Gongfu," the most renowned of the "Three Great Min Black Teas."

During the event, eight Taiwanese companies and associations signed agreements with local Fu'an businesses and associations. As one of the signing companies, Huawen Daochuang (Ningde) Design Co., Ltd. will collaborate with the Taiwan Sustainable Value Co-creation Association to promote research on agricultural carbon sequestration standards, guidance for carbon sequestration tea gardens, tea brand promotion, and the research, development, production, and sales of carbon sequestration tea products.

Lin Yiqi, Chairman of the aforementioned company and a Taiwanese compatriot, stated that this cooperation aims to integrate low-carbon and sustainable concepts into industrial development, with both sides working together to create a purer and more fragrant tea.

It is understood that in recent years, Fu'an and Taiwan have frequently cooperated and exchanged ideas in the tea industry. Tea companies from both sides have carried out in-depth cooperation, launching series of products such as "Oriental Beauty" and "Cross-Strait Red," which have been well received by the market.

Chen Youren, Chairman of the Taiwan Tea Society, believes that through cross-strait exchanges, the attention of industry, academia, and research sectors can be raised, and a black tea industry suitable for Eastern characteristics and contemporary trends can be jointly developed. (End)
