According to the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision (www.dnyxxg.com), with the approval of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, the Commission has filed a case for investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal violations of Li Gang, former deputy director of the Guizhou Provincial Committee for Military-Civilian Integration Development and former director of the Guizhou Provincial Office of National Defense Science and Technology Industry.
The investigation revealed that Li Gang lost his ideals and beliefs, deviated from his original aspirations and mission, and resisted organizational review; he violated the spirit of the Eight-Point Regulation of the Central Committee, accepting gifts and money that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties, and accepting banquets and travel arrangements that could influence the impartial performance of his official duties; he used his public power as a tool to seize personal gain, engaged in large-scale power-for-money transactions, and used his position and the convenience afforded by his authority or status to seek benefits for others in project contracting and obtaining subsidies, illegally accepting huge amounts of money and property.
Li Gang seriously violated the Party's political discipline, constituted serious job-related violations, and is suspected of bribery. Moreover, he did not restrain himself after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, indicating the serious nature and adverse impact of his actions, warranting severe punishment. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China", the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", and the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Sanctions for Public Officials", and upon approval by the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee after deliberation by the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, it was decided to expel Li Gang from the Party; the Guizhou Provincial Supervisory Commission will dismiss him from public office; his illegal gains will be confiscated; and his suspected crimes will be transferred to the procuratorial organs for investigation and prosecution in accordance with the law, with all related assets transferred as well.
