Xu Jie, Deputy Director of the Dalian Municipal Bureau of Statistics, announced that Dalian's GDP reached 1,000.21 billion yuan in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 5.7% at constant prices, marking a new milestone of over one trillion yuan in GDP.

By industry, the added value of the primary industry was 66.54 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6%; the added value of the secondary industry was 353.25 billion yuan, an increase of 7.7%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 580.42 billion yuan, an increase of 4.8%.
The report stated that agricultural production remained generally stable, with ample supply of agricultural products. The added value of the city's primary industry for the year was 66.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%. Industry maintained rapid growth, with the equipment manufacturing industry providing strong support. The city's industrial added value above designated size increased by 11.7% year-on-year, 4.1 percentage points higher than the same period of the previous year, maintaining double-digit growth in the industrial economy. The service sector maintained growth, with some modern service industries showing strong performance. The city's service sector added value increased by 4.8% year-on-year, 0.2 percentage points higher than the same period of the previous year.
Fiscal and tax operations remained stable and improved in quality, with an increased proportion of spending on people's livelihoods. The city's local tax revenue reached 50.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%, with the tax revenue share increasing by 4.4 percentage points compared to the same period of the previous year. General public budget expenditure reached 112.22 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.4%. Spending on people's livelihoods accounted for 86.4% of total fiscal expenditure, 1.6 percentage points higher than the same period of the previous year. (End)
