  Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – The National Data Standardization Technical Committee (NCSC) announced that draft national standards for 22 projects, including "Data Basic Terminology," are currently open for public comment. A NCSC official stated that my country is accelerating the development of national standards and definitions for data-related terms and concepts to support the high-quality development of the artificial intelligence industry.

  The draft standard, "Data Basic Terminology," categorizes terms based on the national data standards system and defines commonly used terms and definitions in the data field. The standard is applicable to teaching, research, production, operation, and technical exchange in the data field. The draft standard clarifies the Chinese and English names and definitions of terms such as lexical units, data value, data assets, trusted data space, and data annotation industry.

  Recently, with the widespread application of technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, data-related terms such as computing power, lexical units, and high-quality datasets have frequently appeared in our lives. Experts say that the development of national standards such as "Data Basic Terminology" and "High-Quality Dataset Classification Guidelines" will help build a unified terminology system for the data element market and provide standardized support for the high-quality development of the digital economy.
