  According to the latest disclosure from the Myanmar Rice Federation (MRF), Madagascar is the largest buyer of Myanmar rice in Africa, followed by the Philippines in second place, and China in third. In addition, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Vietnam, Italy, and other European and ASEAN countries have long been stable buyers of Myanmar rice.

  Currently, Myanmar rice exports cover 31 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and ASEAN. Besides whole rice, broken rice is also an important export category for Myanmar, with China being one of the main buyers of Myanmar broken rice.

  In terms of export category share, the local specialty varieties Aemahta and Ngasein, specifically the 5-fen and 10-fen varieties, account for 22% of the total monthly exports; 25-fen rice accounts for 34%, the highest percentage among single sub-categories; Myanmar broken rice (A+B) accounts for 41% of the total exports, and parboiled rice accounts for approximately 3%.
