Rui Wenbiao, Deputy Director of the State Intellectual Property Office, revealed at the conference that among the world's top 5,000 brands, my country's brand value reached US$1.81 trillion, ranking second globally.
Rui Wenbiao introduced that in 2025, 4.206 million trademarks were registered, 384,000 trademark review cases were concluded, and 112,000 opposition cases were handled. The average examination period for trademark registration remained stable at four months, with a pass rate exceeding 97%. A total of 6,718 Madrid International Trademark Registration applications were received from Chinese applicants throughout the year.
Rui Wenbiao stated that as of the end of 2025, the number of valid registered trademarks in my country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) reached 49.877 million. Among the world's top 5,000 brands, my country's brand value reached US$1.81 trillion, ranking second globally.
