Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On the 17th, the Dongqiao Development Zone in Ningde City, Fujian Province, announced that the core marine engineering equipment of Dejing Group Co., Ltd., an energy service company in the Dongqiao Development Zone, the "Huaxia Dejing 108" multi-functional submarine cable laying vessel, was officially delivered in Taixing City, Jiangsu Province on the 16th. The vessel has a total cable carrying capacity of 18,000 tons, and its single cable reel carrying capacity of 15,000 tons sets a new global record for similar vessels.

According to reports, the "Huaxia Dejing 108" multi-functional submarine cable laying vessel is 171 meters long, 38 meters wide, and 12.8 meters deep, possessing unlimited navigation capabilities. It is currently the marine engineering vessel with the largest single cable reel carrying capacity built globally.
The "Huaxia Dejing 108" multi-functional submarine cable laying vessel is equipped with several industry-first or leading cutting-edge technologies, including a DP2 dynamic positioning system, a 5-meter burial depth laying plow and a modular 6-meter burial depth laying plow, a Makai modeling system, and an intelligent engine room system. It is capable of handling complex operations such as submarine cable laying and maintenance in large-scale deep-sea wind farms worldwide, as well as transoceanic communication fiber optic cable construction.
