Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On July 7th, eight departments including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Cyberspace Administration of China, and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly released the "Implementation Opinions on the Special Action for 'Artificial Intelligence + Manufacturing'," clarifying that by 2027, China will achieve a secure and reliable supply of key core technologies for artificial intelligence, with its industrial scale and empowerment level ranking among the world's top, and a globally leading open-source ecosystem established.
The special action deploys key tasks including innovation foundation building, intelligent upgrading, product breakthroughs, entity cultivation, ecosystem expansion, and security protection.
Regarding the technological foundation, it will strengthen the supply of AI computing power, develop high-level industry models adapted to the characteristics of the manufacturing industry, and carry out the "model-data resonance" action to achieve "data-driven model empowerment."
Regarding application and promotion, it will accelerate the empowerment of key industries such as raw materials, equipment manufacturing, consumer goods, and electronic information, and accelerate the intelligent upgrading of the entire process, including R&D design, pilot testing, production, and marketing services.
According to the goals outlined in the implementation guidelines, by 2027, the goal is to promote the deep application of 3 to 5 general-purpose large-scale models in the manufacturing industry, forming specialized and comprehensive industry-specific large-scale models, creating 100 high-quality datasets for industrial sectors, and promoting 500 typical application scenarios.
In the area of product innovation, the aim is to promote the iteration of intelligent equipment such as industrial machine tools and intelligent robots, accelerate the upgrading of terminals such as smartphones and AR/VR (augmented reality/virtual reality), and cultivate new business models such as industrial intelligent agents.
Regarding the cultivation of key players, by 2027, the goal is to cultivate 2 to 3 globally influential ecosystem-leading enterprises and a number of specialized and innovative SMEs, create a group of empowering application service providers who "understand intelligence and are familiar with industries," and select 1,000 benchmark enterprises.
This special action also includes the release of the "Guidelines for Artificial Intelligence Empowering the Transformation of Key Industries in Manufacturing" and the "Guidelines for the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing Enterprises," providing clear paths for industry transformation and enterprise practice.
