Driven by the Christmas and New Year's holiday atmosphere, overseas consumers' demand for holiday goods has increased. Major cross-border e-commerce websites have launched vigorous promotional activities, bringing a peak in cross-border e-commerce exports to Sanya Airport. “From November to December, we ship approximately 300,000 e-commerce parcels from Sanya Airport each month,” said the head of Yiyun Cross-border Logistics (Hainan) Co., Ltd. “Our clients have high demand for inventory and demanding timeliness. Weekend appointments for customs clearance and inspection allow us to conduct inspections immediately upon arrival, ensuring ‘zero delays’ in customs clearance, release, loading, and shipment.”
To further promote the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce at Sanya Airport, Sanya Airport Customs has established a dedicated inspection area for cross-border e-commerce at the airport cargo terminal, implementing a 24/7 customs clearance model and achieving permanent “instant inspection upon arrival” to meet the customs clearance needs of enterprises during their short off-hours.
