Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On December 29th, the second batch of 15 cross-border warehouses serving characteristic industrial clusters in Hebei Province were officially launched. These newly added warehouses cover several industrially strong counties in Cangzhou, Xingtai, Baoding, Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, and Handan. To date, Hebei's cross-border warehouse network serving characteristic industrial clusters has reached 31, initially forming an international logistics service system with Hebei characteristics: "goods collected at the county level, shipped from the land port, and reaching globally."

"The China-Europe Railway Express, with its advantages in both timeliness and cost, is becoming an important channel for Hebei's industrial clusters to 'go global' on a large scale and regularly," said Dong Chen, head of the second batch of cross-border warehouses at Hebei Land Port (Yanshan). As a logistics node of Shijiazhuang International Land Port, the "localized" cross-border warehouses are more adaptable to local industries. They can provide various services such as warehousing, containerization, short-distance transportation, and domestic customs clearance, tailored to the characteristics of goods from different industrial clusters. They also work in real-time with the Shijiazhuang International Land Port's train operations and overseas warehouse network, effectively solving problems such as difficulties in overseas expansion and high logistics costs for enterprises.

Chang Liang, head of the Hebei Land Port's cross-border warehouse business, stated that with the second batch of cross-border warehouses now operational, the land port's service network has initially covered major industrial clusters in Hebei Province. Relying on its "one-stop" functions such as bulk cargo aggregation, stable transportation guarantees, and customized logistics services, it is increasingly becoming a "stabilizer" and "accelerator" connecting local industries with international markets.

"Cross-border warehouses are an important vehicle for the downward extension of land port services and the support for the development of the real economy," said Liu Jinpeng, General Manager of Shijiazhuang International Land Port. He added that they will continue to promote the optimization of the layout and service functions of cross-border warehouses, facilitate their deep integration with industries in various regions, and enhance the international logistics experience for businesses.
