Southeast Asia Information Port News (www.dnyxxg.com) – On January 18, 2025, the 9th Chongqing SME Service Season and the "Meet Guang'an Goods in Chongqing, Enjoy a Comfortable Life" 2025 Guang'an Good Products Chongqing Tour event were launched in Chongqing. The organizers, through a series of activities, aim to address the development bottlenecks faced by SMEs, such as "unable to find services, unable to afford services, and insufficient innovation capabilities."
The event, themed "Aggregating Service Resources, Driving Development through Innovation," was jointly hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce and the Guang'an Municipal People's Government of Sichuan Province. Focusing on key enterprise needs such as production and sales matching, Chongqing enterprises going global, and digital transformation and upgrading, the event deepened the collaborative cooperation between Chongqing and Guang'an, and featured a series of activities including "1 enterprise service release, 4 service matching events, 2 industry-specific events, 1 on-site exhibition and sales promotion, and numerous district and county branch venues." It also provided SMEs, especially micro-enterprises in the business sector, with a quarterly series of centralized public or preferential services, including training tours and specialized service matching.
At the launch ceremony, Zhang Yongwu, Director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, stated that SMEs are a vital source of economic vitality and resilience. The business sector boasts the highest concentration of SMEs. As a distinctive brand activity focused on serving SMEs, the Chongqing SME Service Season has been successfully held for eight sessions. This year, in collaboration with the Guang'an Municipal Government, the ninth Chongqing SME Service Season and the 2025 Guang'an Good Products Chongqing Tour were launched. The aim is to comprehensively integrate service resources in both regions, plan and implement a series of service projects, better address the urgent needs and expectations of SMEs, and jointly promote the integrated development of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle.
At the launch ceremony, agreements were signed and plaques were awarded to newly established service institutions, service stations, and contact points on the Chongqing SME Commercial and Trade Enterprise Public Service Platform. This further improves the public service system for Chongqing's SME commercial and trade enterprises and extends services to Guang'an City and Xingwen County in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, deepening collaborative services for SMEs in the Chengdu-Chongqing region. A centralized cooperation agreement was also signed on-site, with 20 projects including commodity procurement and service procurement signed, totaling approximately 10 million yuan.
This event will feature four thematic matchmaking sessions focusing on production and sales, Chongqing enterprises going global, human resources, and digitalization of wholesale and retail, providing one-stop service solutions for SMEs. Guang'an City will comprehensively showcase its cultural tourism, food, and textile industry resources through cultural performances, city promotions, and specialty product exhibitions, further promoting market connectivity and collaborative services for SMEs between Chengdu and Chongqing.
The event also organized special matchmaking sessions for districts and counties in Southeast Chongqing (Youyang), Northeast Chongqing (Kaizhou), and West Chongqing (Hechuan), bringing together professional service agencies and industry experts specializing in Chongqing enterprises going global and investment financing to provide comprehensive one-stop service solutions in each district and county.
