According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in November, China's automobile production and sales reached 3.532 million and 3.429 million units respectively, representing month-on-month increases of 5.1% and 3.2%, and year-on-year increases of 2.8% and 3.4%. Monthly production exceeded 3.5 million units for the first time, setting a new historical record. Among them, production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.88 million and 1.823 million units respectively, representing year-on-year increases of 20% and 20.6%, with new energy vehicle sales accounting for 53.2% of total new vehicle sales.
According to CAAM analysis, since the beginning of this year, my country has implemented more proactive and effective macroeconomic policies, resulting in a generally stable and progressive economic operation. The stable and positive macroeconomic environment has played a positive role in promoting the development of the automobile industry.
In November, automobile production and sales continued their strong performance. Enterprises seized the policy window of opportunity, maintaining a relatively fast pace of production and supply. On a high base, both month-on-month and year-on-year growth were achieved in production and sales. The passenger vehicle market remained stable, the commercial vehicle market continued to improve, new energy vehicles performed strongly, and automobile exports grew rapidly. (End)
