Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – Air China recently announced that, to further simplify passenger check-in procedures, it will launch an "automatic check-in" service on November 28th on its Chengdu-Guangzhou, Lhasa, and Tianjin routes.
The following eight routes will have this service: Tianfu-Guangzhou (CA4333), Tianfu-Tianjin (CA2958), Tianfu-Lhasa (CA2763), Tianfu-Korla (CA2521), Shuangliu-Fuyang (CA4225), Shuangliu-Nanchang (CA4531), Shuangliu-Lanzhou (CA4207), and Hangzhou-Tianjin (CA2848).
How to check in? According to an official announcement from Air China, passengers can purchase tickets and pre-select seats via the Air China App, WeChat, and Alipay mini-program up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure time, and select the "automatic check-in" service. The system will automatically process the check-in and send a text message. Passengers can then download their electronic boarding pass and proceed with security checks.
If you need to change seats or cancel check-in after successfully completing the "automatic check-in" service, you can do so manually through the "Check-in Service" section of the Air China App, mini-program, or website up to one hour before the scheduled departure time, or by calling the Air China customer service hotline or at the airport counter. If the cancellation is one hour or less before the scheduled departure time, passengers can only do so by calling the customer service hotline or at the airport's manual check-in counter.
