Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – The Economic Outlook Forum 2025, hosted by the China Economic Times, was held in Beijing on November 29th.
The forum, themed "The 15th Five-Year Plan: Striving to Promote High-Quality Development," focused on discussions surrounding key tasks of the 15th Five-Year Plan, global changes during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, efforts to expand consumption, development of advanced manufacturing, building a digital China, developing a green and low-carbon economy, accelerating the development of elderly care services, and the work related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers in the new stage.
Zhang Shunxi, Deputy Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council, stated in his address that promoting high-quality development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period requires: first, recognizing the general trend of development and strengthening confidence in success; second, accurately grasping the essence and adhering to the principle of upholding integrity and innovation; and third, proceeding from reality and promoting development according to local conditions.
In addition to the main session, the forum also included two parallel sessions: "High-Quality Development of Low-Altitude Economy from the Perspective of New Productive Forces" and "'Integrating New Quality, Enlightening Financial Wisdom': High-Quality Financial Development and Financial Literacy Education for All."
