Southeast Asia Information Port (www.dnyxxg.com) – As of the 28th, the China-Europe Railway Express has operated over 120,000 trains, transporting goods worth over US$490 billion.

According to the head of the freight department of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Railway"), with the increasingly完善的廊廊网络, the service scope of the China-Europe Railway Express basically covers the entire Eurasian region. Within China, 94 scheduled China-Europe Railway Express routes with a speed of 120 km/h have been laid out, operating through the western, central, and eastern corridors, and passing through six ports: Alashankou, Khorgos, Erenhot, Manzhouli, Suifenhe, and Tongjiang. Outside of China, a diversified corridor pattern has been formed with three parallel lines in the north, central, and south. In particular, after the southern corridor achieved regular operation, the transport volume has steadily increased, with a total of 371 trains operating from January to October 2025, a year-on-year increase of 33%. Currently, 128 cities in China have launched China-Europe freight train services, connecting 232 cities in 26 European countries and over 100 cities in 11 Asian countries, essentially covering the entire Eurasian continent.

The types of goods transported by the China-Europe freight trains have expanded to 53 categories and over 50,000 products. High-value-added goods such as automobiles and auto parts, machinery and equipment, and electronic and electrical products have become the main sources of exports. With the continuous expansion of the service, domestic and international transportation costs for the China-Europe freight trains have decreased by more than 40% compared to the initial stage of operation.

The China-Europe freight trains have stimulated new vitality in the economic and social development of countries along the route. Using the China-Europe freight trains, new energy vehicles, photovoltaic products, and consumer electronics from Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, and other cities in China reach Europe faster and at better prices, while specialty agricultural products from Germany, the Netherlands, and other countries enter China in a more economical and efficient manner. From 2013 to 2024, the value of goods transported by the China-Europe freight trains is expected to increase approximately 33 times, and its share of total China-Europe trade is projected to rise from 0.4% to 8.5%.
